Remote Monitoring in Telehealth

This is a great example of telehealth technology serving as a backup for doctors and nurses in hospitals. Any new change to the traditional way of doing things is met with some resistance and understandably so. Starting small pilots and showing results is the best way to increase adoption.

At SenseGrow, we did a Remote Monitoring project for Medanta Medicity hospitals in India where sensors were deployed to monitor the positive room-pressure needs of the ICUs. For any critical change in pressure, the nursing staff and the doctors on the floor were alerted at their stations. This system is now in use at all the Medanta locations.
